King of Clubs at Barona July 10th

Bats Day 2010

Coco's 1963 Galaxie 500 Convertible, got the 352 FE motor running good, swapped over the automatic column and did the brakes, running good so we took it down to steel to survey the damage and shot it in epoxy primer. The quarters have been re-done in a poor east coast hack style so we'll be re-doing that, otherwise it's looking good. Notice Steve in the background learning electric start in gear is not good....jimmy

High Dollar Jimmy

they call me High Dollar Jimmy now, 1934 Ford Three Window, pretty much all the sheet metal, lower patch panels, frame, radiator and grill and alot of vision.....jimmy

3 steps forward 5 steps back

Loaded up the Trailer Queen on the trailer and was headed up to pick up another T-bird to repair Coco's demolish derby car. Arranged to meet the buyer a block away from the T-bird pick-up, which was up in Norco, couple hours away.Picked up Mark on the way, thought I'd share his planter art, must say I am a bit jealous, it was a prop from a play or somethingSo we met up with Gene and his son in the Burger King parking lot, tried to talk him out of it but Gene wasn't scared so off the Trailer Queen went. It's nice to sell things but I gotta say I regret every car I've ever sold. Hope Gene has alot of fun in that car I know I did. Afterwards we went to get the T-bird for Coco and ended up buying a 1963 galaxie convertible, 1963 galaxie parts car, 1964 galaxie convertible and a 1964 galaxie 2 door hardtop. If that wasn't bad enough we then headed up to Dan Collin's Old Gold Garage and picked up A 1934 three window project. Mark bought the 64's so end result was I bought 5 cars this weekend and sold 3, 3 steps forward, 5 steps back.....

Slab City Fun Fest

Didn't know whiskey bottles could take pictures but Sergio pulled it off

Slowing coming together

Went to a charity Poker Game at the Lava Flow and got inspired to get some more work done on the backyard. Long list of ideas we have had since before the pool was even put in and has been slowly coming together. Coco has put props into full effect, last night she added some solar fireflies to the back wall that look great at night. We'll see how well this stuff holds up after the first party.

Well, we had always talked about doing a dock on the far wall of the pool, can't be sure but I think it was actually Cookie's idea (R.I.P.). Anyhow we were down at the Bali Hai for Dylan's birthday and Monkey Business was broke (thanks Mikey) and in the slip so I just happened to have a trailer capable of carrying 22' long laminated dock beams. 2 days later and the Bali Jor'dan dock was alive. Can't wait for the Pool Party season to get started
